Another reason we heart Liv Tyler is that she admits to having had a hard time losing her baby weight. Unlike most celebrity moms who insist their baby weight just fell off with yoga.

“I was not one of those women who just dropped pounds instantly when I was breastfeeding. Actually, I got so homely I was ravenous for things like doughnuts and cakes.”

 Liv also admits to hibernating her home the first year after son Milo was born and didn’t really get proactive in her weight loss until she saw a very unflattering picture of herself in a magazine.

 “I can remember walking down the street one day – I was going to the nail salon – when … a photographer took my picture,” she recalls. “I was wearing a very unflattering shirt that I had worn when I was pregnant and a pair of sweat pants, and when the picture appeared in a magazine they ran a caption asking if I was pregnant again. When I saw it I said, ‘I think the holiday is over.’ “

 

Liv lost the weight by shaking up her diet and working out a with a trainer. She does admit that she has started smoking again and knows she needs to quit. Again, very un-Hollywood like of her.
