“Lost’ hit an all time ratings low this week for a new episode. The strangely addicting show drew an estimated 12.7 million viewers Wednesday night, much lower than the shows peak of 20 million viewers.

ABC is working hard to keep their hit show protected from other network big dogs, like American Idol. ABC’s attempts to protect their hit show by changing the time slot and trying out a no rerun 16 episode run

ABC is trying to protect Lost from other network big dogs like American Idol and Criminal Minds by moving the show’s time slot, and has also made an attempt to keep viewers coming back with it’s experimental 16 episode with no repeat programming.

So why the low ratings? I’ve heard a lot of internet rumblings that folks are starting to get sick and tired of the confusing stories and never getting any sort of answers or satisfaction. Maybe now TPTB will throw us a bone and at least tell how Locke ended up in a wheelchair.
